Persistent online strategy · Real-time · Country-level command

One country. One server. Every order is yours.

WW3: Sovereign Command is an online global strategy war game played on a living world map. Claim one available country on a campaign server, run its provinces in real time, and lead ground forces, armour, aircraft and fleets with orders that the server checks and carries out.

The premise

A campaign that keeps running when you look away

Each server is its own persistent campaign. You choose one country that is still available, and from that moment it is yours on that server: its provinces, its stockpiles, its armies. Production, construction and marches continue in real time, so the world you return to is the world other commanders shaped while you were gone.

Play on more than one server and you hold more than one separate campaign. Country resources and armies never cross between them, which means every server is a clean, distinct contest.

How campaign servers work

“March is not capture. Contact is not range. A timer is a promise, not a shortcut.”

Order of battle

Four branches, four production lines

Every force comes from a facility you build in your own provinces. The matching building level decides which troop levels you can train.

Doctrine

Build before you recruit

Construction and recruitment spend real country resources. One construction job runs per province, while a single training slot is shared across your whole country on that server.

Barracks

Ground troops

Infantry formations that travel along valid roads and can be split or combined with compatible friendly armies.

Factories

Tanks

Armour that follows roads like ground troops, with close weapons that engage at 50 km.

Airstrips · Ports

Aircraft and ships

Aircraft fly and depend on fuel and qualifying bases supported by Hangars. Coastal Ports produce ships that sail on water.

Movement

Roads, water and open sky

Movement follows the nature of each force. Ground troops and tanks use roads, ships move through water and aircraft fly. When you press Move and pick a destination, the server checks the route before the order is confirmed. Press Stop and the army holds where it is — it does not snap back home.

Crossing a province is only travel. Taking ground requires an explicit Capture order that sends eligible troops to the province centre, where defenders can still block you.

Movement and combat guide

Rules of engagement

Combat that rewards knowing the rules

Contact before targeting

You can target an enemy army only when your country has a current, shared contact on it. Seeing an enemy does not extend your weapon range, and an old combat report is a record of the past, not live visibility.

Ranges and cooldowns

Weapons have distinct ranges. Shots repeat when their cooldown finishes, not every time an animation plays.

Capitals endure

Original capitals never transfer ownership, though troops stationed in them can still be attacked.

Two defensive switches

Stop Attack cancels manual pursuit. Stop Defence and Activate Defence separately control automatic defence.

Server-checked orders

Routes and capture orders are checked against the live campaign rules when you issue them.

The long game

Research, commanders and quiet diplomacy

  1. Research military improvements

Invest in improvements for your forces and plan them around what your economy can sustain.

  2. Recruit commanders

Bring commanders into your country's service as part of building a capable military.

  3. Talk before you shoot

Use diplomacy and private messages to shape relationships with other countries on your server.

Where you play

Played in the browser, on a live server

WW3: Sovereign Command runs as an online game against a live campaign server. The current Android version is a WebView shell around the same online game rather than a separate native game engine, so your campaign behaves the same way wherever you sign in.

Help never pauses the war: opening the in-game guide or walkthrough leaves your orders and production running.

Your country is waiting on a live server

Create an account, join a campaign server and claim one available country. The in-game walkthrough uses your real campaign, so every order you give counts.
