Questions commanders ask before their first order

Clear answers about how WW3: Sovereign Command actually behaves — servers, economy, construction, movement and combat. For step-by-step help, see the strategy guides.

Starting out

What kind of game is WW3: Sovereign Command?

It is a persistent online real-time strategy game played at country level. You claim one available country on a campaign server, manage its provinces and resources, research military improvements, recruit commanders, construct facilities, train forces and move them across a world map.

How do I start playing?

Create an account at the sign-up page, join a server, then browse the available countries and confirm your claim. The starter walkthrough then guides you through your real campaign: inspecting provinces, reading reserves, building, recruiting and giving a first movement order.

Can I control more than one country?

On a single server you control only one country. Taken or unavailable countries cannot be claimed, so choose carefully before confirming.

Does opening the tutorial or guide pause the game?

No. Your orders, construction and training continue while the guide is open. You can skip lessons, resume them later, or replay the walkthrough.

Servers and resources

What is a server in this game?

Each server is a separate campaign. Your country, armies and country resources stay separate between servers, so progress on one server does not carry to another.

How does province income work?

Province income is credited on real-hour timing. Faster march speed does not speed up income or production. Province details show ownership and hourly production.

Is Gold the same as country resources?

No. Gold is held by your account, while other resources belong to your country on each server. Gold speed-ups are optional; no starter lesson requires spending Gold.

Building and training

Which building unlocks which forces?

Barracks unlock ground troops, Factories unlock tanks, Airstrips unlock aircraft and coastal Ports unlock ships. The matching building level gates the troop level you can train. Hangars support aircraft basing and fuel.

Why can I only train one troop at a time?

Training uses one shared slot per player on each server, across all your provinces. Finished troops appear automatically; there is no collection step.

Can I build in several provinces at once?

Yes. One construction job can run per province, and different provinces can build in parallel.

Movement and combat

Does marching into a province capture it?

No. Travel is not capture. You need an explicit Capture order, which sends eligible troops to the province centre. Defenders can block the capture.

Why can I not target an enemy army I can see?

Targeting an enemy army requires a current contact shared by your country, and your weapons still need to be in range. Seeing an enemy does not increase weapon range.

Can my capital be captured?

Your original capital cannot be captured, but troops stationed there can still be attacked.

What is the difference between Stop Attack and Stop Defence?

Stop Attack cancels manual pursuit. Stop Defence separately turns off automatic defence, and Activate Defence restores it. Neither makes an army immune to incoming fire.

Air, sea and platforms

Do aircraft need fuel?

Yes. Aircraft need a friendly qualifying base and enough fuel for the mission and safe return. Hangars support aircraft basing and fuel.

How do ships carry troops?

Naval transport requires boarding and landing. Do not move a transport before boarding completes.

Is there a native Android game?

The current Android version is a WebView shell around the online game, not a native game engine.
