Create an account and join a server
Everything begins with an account. Once you are signed in, open Your server, choose a server and select Join. Each server is a separate campaign with its own map state, so think of joining as stepping into one specific war rather than a global lobby.
Your country, armies and country resources stay separate between servers. If you later join another server, you start a fresh, independent campaign there.
Choose and claim one country
Browse the available countries and pick one. Taken or unavailable countries cannot be claimed, and you can control only one country on a given server. Confirm only when you are sure — this is your real country choice, not a practice selection.
What to consider before confirming
- Coastline. Ships come from coastal Ports, so a coast opens naval options.
- Road access. Ground troops and tanks move on roads; connected provinces are easier to reinforce.
- Neighbours. Countries next to you are your first diplomatic relationships, friendly or not.
After claiming, Show on map returns you to your territory at any time.

Read your home territory
Your provinces are shown in green. Drag to pan and pinch or scroll to zoom, then tap a province to open its details: ownership and hourly production. Your original capital cannot be captured, though troops inside it can still be attacked, so it is a safe anchor but not an invulnerable fortress.
Check your reserves
Tap a resource in the top bar to read its balance and what it is used for. Country resources pay for construction and recruitment. Gold is held by your account. Province income is credited on real-hour timing. The economy guide covers this in depth.
Safe first actions
Start an affordable building
Open an owned province, choose Construct and read the live cost, level and timer. Barracks are a sensible first step if you want ground troops.
Queue one troop when ready
Use Produce once the matching building level is complete. You have one shared training slot on the server, and finished troops appear automatically.
Practise a short, friendly march
Select a ground army, press Move and pick a nearby friendly destination. Then select it and press Stop to see it hold position.
Inspect, do not commit
Open Attack or a foreign province's capture controls to learn them, but do not confirm an order unless you intend to fight.
Habits that pay off
Keep a resource reserve, build before recruiting, protect your troops and always check timers and weapon ranges. Reopen the in-game guide whenever you need it — the campaign keeps running while you read.
